- - Easter Pastels

 Hello Lovelies!

Happy Sunday. Spring is in full bloom and the countdown begins for cute little treats and sweet toothaches. I have always enjoyed the Easter holiday and what more perfect occasion to wear pastels. An array of purples, mints, pinks, oranges, yellows, greens and blues should be aligned in your closet by now.  So are you gals ready to go egg hunting while still looking fabulous? If so, here are a few suggestions you might want to keep in mind.

In this outfit, I have combined a sheer long sleeve lavender top with a studded collar with some cream crochet shorts. These shorts are a spring must have! So ladies if you do not own a pair, go grab some shorts from your local Forever 21, Zara or any other fashion store near you. They are hot and won't last long. You can pair this outfit with some pretty cream wooden heel platforms or wedges. To accessorize, add some pearl and gold earrings, gold rings and a nice beige and gold bracelet or watch.

TIP: To change the look, you could also wear a pastel crop top or a cute loose tank. To accessorize, add a statement bubble necklace. These necklaces are really pretty in coral and mint colors. Moreover, crochet shorts can also be worn with colorful wedges or flats if you want to make this look more casual.  Another way to rock this look, is to wear these shorts with a floral top, especially the ones with the bows on the back. A combination of those two items will have others turning heads.

Mynt Madness.

Hello My Lovelies!

As you are already aware of, we are just a couple of days away from the first official day of Spring!! Who's excited?? I know I am. I look forward to wearing cute rompers, summer dresses and shorts (my favorite!). I decided to start this blog with a photo shoot to give you a taste of what's to come. I really had fun with the girls shooting and editing these pictures for you guys. The day of the shoot was really hot though and I almost fell walking to this location. I know what you are thinking, "She does not know how to walk in heels"... there were too many rocks so you can just imagine how that turned out. Yikes! Overall, the session went well and we managed to get some good shots.
For this photo shoot, I decided to go with a nice mint crochet romper from Forever 21. To finish the look, I paired it off with some nude pumps, white and gold belt, squared mint earrings and a white and gold ring. This outfit will be ideal for a casual date, a family dinner or a simple GNO!

TIP: To tone this look a notch.... ditch the pumps and go for your favorite strap sandals or cute ballet flats. If you plan to wear this outfit more than once, a good suggestion would be to pair this romper with a white cashmere or cotton over size jumper. By doing so, you will give the impression that you are wearing shorts, when in reality you are using the same romper.
